Brasserie Dupont is a Belgian brewery particularly famous for their beers with saison yeast. They have a history stretching back all the way to an old farm brewery called Rimaux-Deridder, which the founder Louis Dupont’s father Alfred bought for him in 1920. The current brewmaster is the fourth generation son Olivier Dedeycker. Saison was a beer originally brewed in Belgium during the winter months for the farmers to be able to drink in the fields during the warm summer to cool themselves off. Their flagship beer Saison Dupont is loved all over the world and is by many considered to be the origin of saison and farmhouse ales.
